We at the Safer Society Foundation were very saddened this week to learn of the sudden death of Sabrina M. Simmons, one of the key contributors to The Journey of Healing. In addition to her eloquent personal essay “Anger,” Sabrina generously volunteered the use of her exquisite photography, the perfect adornment for the anthology. We all had the chance to meet Sabrina when she traveled to Vermont from her home in Savannah, Georgia, for the launch celebration in April, for which we are grateful.
We wish to extend our sincere condolences to Sabrina’s family and friends.
